Who am I?
I am Kristoffer Gray, the School Project Manager working with Place2Be, based in Carrick Academy.
I’m a qualified counsellor who has experience working in both primary and secondary schools across Ayrshire & Arran. I have also volunteered for the NSPCC ChildLine and have experience working in GP Practices, supporting vulnerable children, young people and adults.
What is Place2Be?
Place2Be is a charity which supports children and young adults with their mental health. People who use this service can discuss whatever is going on for them; this could be anything from school worries, anxiety, friendship issues and much more – whatever is on your mind.
How can Place2Be help?
We aim to support you with whatever you have going on. Coming to talk to someone about what’s on your mind can be a nerve-wracking thing. It can be difficult and even overwhelming at the thought of opening-up and sharing your concerns.
It’s important to remember that at Place2Be, we try to take things at your pace. We want to you to feel safe and supported and only share what you are comfortable with. We are not here to judge you, or to tell you what to do. We’re here to help you, help yourself.
Any Questions?
If you have any questions about Place2Be’s service in Carrick Academy, please don’t hesitate to get in touch! You will be able to reach the School Project Manager Kristoffer Gray by email at [email protected] or by contacting the school on 01655 883003. If I am unavailable, I would be happy for you to leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
You can also arrange to visit me at the end of the school day. If you would like to meet me in person, please contact myself or the school office to make an appointment.
My working days are usually Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm. Some days may vary depending on training days/team meetings.
